If you can safely reach your internal stop tap, turn off the water supply. Keep away from water near electrical fittings, and avoid disturbing pipes or fittings while you wait for help.

When contacting a plumber, explain where the leak is, whether it’s still flowing and whether you’ve managed to turn the water off. A photograph can also help show the problem.
